A little background
I had a diabetic foot infection last year.
I asked my podiatrist if I could keep the toe. He said if pathology was okay with it I could keep it. I called down there while recovering and they said I could take it home after they ran it though the microscope to check for a residual bone infection.
I kept it in formalin for a little while but I actually did some mummification to it (I’ll spare you guys the details) so that it’s hard and I don’t need to keep it submerged any more.
Since technically it’s a part of my body I’m genuinely wondering if I can use it for six hours of beautiful mining experience with the space bar held down. It’s my toe. It’s heavy enough to press my laptop space bar. Me personally - I feel like it’s valid; I sleep just fine at night knowing my toe is working hard for me in the salt mines.
