That's why I made r/OSRSmaps so I had a centralised place for maps to collect so I can steal them when needed :D
Just throw a quick "all maps posted are property of JaGEx." Don't specificy that it's maps of RuneScape or in a RuneScape style, or even maps posted in the subreddit. Pretty sure if it's written there for a year without anyone complaining it's legally binding and not only will you own all custom RuneScape maps, you'll own all the maps in the world.
And if I own all the maps in the worlds... That would make the world mine, correct? The perfect plan for world domination!

Share the developer tools with the public so people know the limits of what they can ask for.
I wish we could but they don't work without access to the offices network, which - as you may imagine - we can't give to everyone. Hopefully in the future it becomes possible but I can't see it happening any time soon ):
Just trust everyone on the internet :)
Or maybe you could set up a stream showing it off.
