Making f2p casual only killed f2p LMS. It also killed the only UK world and many people from europe now have to brid with 140 ping.

The new map is awful.

It spawns people without a fight, leaving you to run around to look for a fight and waste time while others are getting upgrades already.

Theres end zones in rooms with a lot of props in the way which blocks movement and the tall buildings also block camera angles, it's really annoying to fight in such an environment.

Theres fences/trees that you can not hug behind but you do have to walk around them, another obnoxious thing to deal with.

It just saddens me to see how little thought went into it, the minigame has potential for so much more.

Hey guys, thanks for sharing your feedback. New CM here for OSRS. I focus on live in-game issues and work directly with The Operators, so I was interested to hear what you had to say about the LMS Update.

The main points I've gathered from you so far:
- Clicking on a chest is not a rewarding experience because the map forces you to take routes which are very long. The longer the route is, the more vulnerable you are to enemies (specifically ice barrage. argh!)
- Finding chests for some players is too difficult in the map, because players don't know which one to get. As they're positioned directly in the buildings, you don't know which is closest.
- If players are not evenly paired at the start of the game, this leads to unfun gameplay and bad matches at the start. This is because other players are able to loot their upgrades and you feel at a disadvantage if you haven't been paired.
- Additional props in the map block movement and camera angles, which makes it more difficult for players to see what's going on in PvP.
- The fences/trees placement on the map causes some players to walk around them, leading to longer travel time and frustrations when playing as the mini-game should be focused on PvP.
- It is unclear at the beginning of the game who will attack who, making it difficult to know how to play effectively.

Other points you raised.
- Ping. this was a really unfortunate result of the PvP World Rota clashing with this update. The rota switches every 2 weeks which means that UK/EU will get a world when it switches. We're sorry for anyone affected by this as I know it's really frustrating.
- Matchmaking system/smaller lobbies. An ELO system would be a larger project to take on and would take on a lot more dev time so this isn't something we can address in the short term.

We'll be discussing this on Friday with the wider team to see if we can improve your experience. I can't promise any changes until we've all spoken about it, but we hear what you're saying and it will be discussed.

So, in the meantime if you could give some more specific feedback/suggestions (what we can do to make your problems better) particularly with map placement, that will help us a lot. We want to ensure that updates are received positively and that you're having the best experience possible. Thanks!
