[2022] 100% Health To 0% In One Shot?

Wanted to ask here because I can’t find a good answer to this. So I have been doing expeditions having come back recently. I was crawling up the tiers and then at one point I have been running around, not really threatened by much but things were spicy here and there. Suddenly I go from 100% health to 0% in one shot. Sometimes it’s a Captain’s ability, sometimes it is a random bullet. Reload, same thing. Read up that about a year ago a patch or what not had an issue where sometimes mitigation suddenly goes to 0 and you insta die in these. One suggestion was to remove all of your gear, reload and put it back on to have your armor work again. Same thing. So to test whether this was maybe a lag spike that was not showing all of the damage, and then it all gets thrown at you at once, I dropped the tier of the expedition. At the lower tiers I am getting tickled by everything right at the beginning as per usual, the big boys are not even doing a fraction of my health in damage, and then 100-0% in one shot. Wondering what I am missing in terms of this issue and if it has been fixed in a way that I can’t find. Hope that you can help as I want to get back into the game with the new stuff, but it is kind of disheartening to try to build yourself up and get erased from every run now.
