While i am ecstatic about Apocalypse Tiers bringing in some new challenges & gear, i can't help but think that the addition of a third mod slot is gonna make the gear grind a little more painful than it needs to be. Especially considering we can only re-roll one mod on a piece of gear. However, i am still excited to see what kind of builds are gonna be possible with this addition. Especially Devastator builds.

I can understand the trepidation - while we haven't yet revealed the Endgame format, I am able to say that we are looking to make sure that the hunt for Legendary + Apo Gear isn't as it was around launch last year. That is to say, while RNG will of course continue to play a part, we will have features to help improve the hunt for specific gear items.

Looking forward to learning more as release approaches. Thanks to you and the team for the hard work

Also side question: will apocalypse variants of legendary gear be limited to new legendaries? Or will it be extended to pre-existing legendaries too? Like for example, the Reaper LMG?

As Paul said below, apocalypse variants are available for all gear.

You've been so helpful in talking with the community, and responding to our "fears" and doubts, so I'm going to ask something regarding Apocalipse items and RNG, just in case you can answer:

Do you think (or even talked to the Devs) if there's even a talk about, maybe in the future, we can recalibrate one STAT as well as one Mod, not just to fight the RNG on purples, but also allow us to personalise Legendaries even more...?

By stat do you mean the attributes like "Crit Damage" or "Status Power" or "Long Range Damage" increases as seen here
