How often does this occur? It is possible that after 3-5 of these crashes, the issue resolves itself and doesn't reoccur.

If it's a persistent crash, please try the below:

  • Please try switching to DX11 mode. You can force this with the following:

  • In Steam : Outriders Demo -> Manage -> Properties -> Launch option-> Write the below in the textbox without the " "

"-force -dx11"

Additionally, please check whether your intro movie has been renamed or deleted. If it has, please try renaming it to it's original name and launching the game then.

We are already working on a fix for this issue and will implement it as soon as we can.

I tried more than 5x, and it was still crashing.

Running the game using DX11 (manually selected through steam) did not work.

However, I did try your recommendation and added the parameter -force -dx11 and that fixed the issue.

I appreciate the quick response. Good luck to your team, and have a great week!

Great to hear, thanks for letting me know. You too!
