Seriously, what the hell is going on right now?

The new thread for todays patch states several times that the patch does not, I repeat, NOT, I'll repeat it again for some of the guys in the back, it does NOT restore wiped inventories or fix corrupted characters.

What it DOES, is preventing possible future inventory wipes. Of course many members of this sub are still a little afraid to login, so naturally they go to the thread for wipes that happened after the patch just to be sure that it doesn't occur anymore or that it at least occurs less often.

And every single f*cking comment on that thread is some idiot that read 'patch' and 'inventory' and wasn't mentally able to read any further before wasting a comment about how they lost their inventory last week and still can't login.

Guys, not only do you waste PCF's time and make it harder for them to detect any remaining cases of the inventory wipe, you also make it impossible for anyone on this sub to see possible new reports of the bug, so they could maybe get an idea of what is still causing the bug and how to avoid it.

I know this post is kind of a rant but I can't believe that I just scrolled through possibly a hundred useless and dumb bug reports that are totally irrelevant to the thread. Good god.

I know it's not a good look an a "company moderated" Reddit. - but I wish they'd delete they irrelevant comments in the thread, so we can also see how prevalent, if at all, any more wipes are.

I am doing this moderation on Steam where we're facing a similar issue of irrelevant reports.

On Reddit I'm more hesitant to do this as people will think we're trying to hide any new cases (which of course is precisely the opposite of our intention). Such moderation on an unofficial sub generally brings out the "censorship" crowd, regardless of the logic behind it.

I'll quote the thread they made, if anyone is feeling a "full patch note" is too much to read:

"For any affected characters currently encountering a “Couldn’t Connect to Server”: these characters will have their inventories returned and they will become fully playable again as soon as our restoration process has completed."

I'll also be answering every single reply/post about this with above said quote.

Have been doing the same of twitter as well.

I appreciate the support! :)
