Hey guys, I have a question in regards to this set for the Technomancer. So I’ve been playing since launch and I’m having a great time (apart from the typical issues regarding the game (but much appreciation for the devs to try and make things right)). In regards to the freeze boosted damage, does the increased damage occur ONLY when a target is legit frozen? Or does the increased damage occur when the target has the frozen status marked on them as well? With this new patch coming soon, I’ve been really wanting to make my techno a toxic/frost King by using the absolute zero weapon (ultimate freeze bullets) along with some frozen extra damage mods. I feel I’d have a lot more fun with the techno if I had some variation to a bullet build apart from the typical bullet builds you usually see.

I talked a little bit about this in the main thread. Pasting over some of my notes:

As a reminder, certain monsters and captains have protection mechanics that can stop or mitigate CC effects if they are spammed against that enemy.

The status itself is always applied so you can benefit from "damage against" type of mods, but the CC effect itself can be shortened or removed if the enemy is spammed with CC over and over again.

Without these kind of mechanics it would be possible to permanently freeze enemies.

I'm also checking with the team for 100% clarification on the set bonus as was asked here.
