Glad someone posted this in a separate thread. I was thinking about doing it as-well since it seems so many people refuse to read the console bug pinned thread.
The transparency from Starrok regarding this actually helped me take a chance on getting WoTR on console a few days ago. I have faith they will get it up to standard. They clearly love the game so I cant see them willingly abandoning it.
We won't. This time we have both the ownership of the game AND the resources. Things may be not ideal at the start, but we're working non-stop to improve it until it's in a satisfying state.
It was very sad for us to stop working on Kingmaker. And in a way, an even bigger frustration was to be unable to explain why. Luckily, we can finally talk about it.
Console Wrath is running much better today - only a few days after launch - than even the final version of Kingmaker. Thank you for the efforts.

I really am glad to have made research and asked questions about wotr on console. Because I bought kingmaker withput knowing the state it was in. I played over 100 hours of kingmaker and loved it. Just got tired of the crashes.
The info I got on WOTR was really good so I bought it yesterday!! Aside framerate dip, which I don't mind, the fame is awesome so far and will continue playing it!
This kind of system, complex and way too expansive for my brain to process in a single game is what I am searching for in these titles. Really big fan of DnD, unfortunately did not play pathfinder, and having that kind of experience in a video game format is a dream come true, thank you very much to have produced these games and hope that you will go forward with other titles like that in the future. When the time is right of course!

I have no idea, I learned that there are mythics in kingmaker after I let go of the game.
In WOTR, I shall not plan too much for this playthrough, go with the flow. And after I have experienced the game, I will put my magic to use!!
There are no mythics in Kingmaker :) They are a unique feature of Wrath of the Righteous, where story revolves around choosing one of the paths responsible for the source and direction of your power. Choose wisely!
Just want to let you and the dev team know that the console port is working really well for me on the Series S. After the day-one patch, I have minimal crashing and no real big bugs. Great job guys!
