Just a quick rant to say how much this game has blown me away. I've long been a fan of RPGs; D&D and Dragon Age were my bread and butter in high school, and my first ever video game was the original Neverwinter Nights.
And yet...Wrath of the Righteous has rapidly become my all time favorite. It's not perfect, but it does so much RIGHT. From the score (mythic power, anyone?) to the player agency, to the way the mythic paths are designed to completely change each playthrough, everything works together to create a truly Epic Fantasy story and setting.
I'm already replaying having only beaten the game a few weeks ago, and yet I'm actually having more fun. I can't wait to see where my new build and mythic path goes, and unlike with other RPGs it was (mostly) easy to resist the temptation to just redo my previous character.
In short, thanks Owlcat. Taking a system and story like this and translating it into a cRPG can't be easy, but I'm so glad you did.
