Played a lot this weekend and very stable. Only bug is some loading screens are empty white. Great job Owlcat! How is everyone else finding the latest patch?

Known issue, will be fixed soon.
Terrible. For some reason it broke my latest saves (no it's not my mods), and last one I can load it's like 20 hours earlier
Patch definitely shouldn't break any saves. How exactly is it behaving? Which messages do you get? Also, are you sure you have updated all mods and did you try refreshing cache by deleting all files except saved games, portraits and screenshots from the following folder: C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous ?
So when’s merged spellbooks getting another rework?
(Iomadae please just change it back)
It's working as intended according to the design now. It's understandable that people were used to the broken system before 1.2, but it was based off an error in the code that got globally fixed. And the way it is built, it is impossible to simply 'change it back'. We'd need to spend some serious amount of hours of writing new code simply to emulate the old bug. It was deemed counterproductive.
Yeah it sucks. Almost everything else is complete fine though, like she still shows up in the party and reacts to this when you bring her along. It's just that she's not spawning in Drezen which means her personal stuff won't continue either.
Just confirming that it's known and already fixed for the upcoming hotfix. Most likely that's just a few hours away.
Thanks for the reply! I've already updated all my mods and refreshed the cache like you said. When I load the save, get a white loading screen, and when the bar reaches around 10% it goes back to the main screen. No error messages.
I can begin a new game (regular story or any of the dlcs) load other characters (main story or Inevitable Excess) or load a earlier save just fine with the same mod setup
Will investigate as soon as possible. Please report it via ALT+B.
I am finding my bear regularly facing the wrong way.
It's advancing backwards!
Jokes aside, problem known, being worked on.
When a bug lasts through the beta and six months post-release (long enough to be considered canon by a fair chunk of players), and all subsequent fixes result in a less logical, more confusing system with imbalance between prepared and spontaneous casters, the work to replicate that 'bug' in a functional manner is far from counterproductive.
I appreciate you're just the messenger here, but the new system is every bit as bad as the last rework. I know you feel like it's just the same few voices expressing discontent here, but I hope you pass our disappointement on (and the excellent breakdown thread posted here after 1.3 that outlines the new issues) nonethless.
I'm monitoring the reactions on the updated system, and while there's some negative feedback, it's not too hot and is to be expected, considering the sudden nature of the change and ruined builds. I see a decent amount of positive feedback as well, often pointing that the change actually improves the balance between two types of casters.
In either case, I understand your personal frustration with it, if you liked the previous system more, but I'm afraid it's unlikely that there will be any further change on this, unless something is found to be bugged.
Can you please at least tell us the rationale for changeing it from the original system?
Also is a system where you get to chose spells you can never cast really a system you want to go with?
It was never intended to work how it worked prior to 1.2, but since it gave player power, it was never noticed and reported. One of unrelated 1.2 fixes repaired a global code error that affected it. That made it close to original design, but it still caused multiple cases of odd behaviour (such as character level at which you gained a mythic level, affecting the amount of spells you received) and tooltip inconsistencies, which were fixed in 1.3.
Why did the 1.3 patch notes say that Covenant of the Inheritor no longer turns off whenever you change zones? It still has the same issue that has been present since launch.
Seems not all cases where it occured, were covered :( It's being investigated further.

There it goes
Just confirming I see the same white page on loading screens.
The hotfix has been released.

Hotfix has been released that should address your issue.
Any chance some of the interesting weapons are going to get fixed?
Like Ricocheting Heavy Crossbow (doesn’t hit other enemies) and Mighty Advisor (doesn’t double insight bonuses). They are interesting concepts to build around but they don’t work.
Make sure you report these via ALT+B. Their time will come at some point, too.
Unfortunately the patch didn't fixed it. The loading screens are back but it still goes back to main screen without an error when the loading bar reaches 6/10%. I'll Alt+B it again and wait a while before playing again
Please send your save that doesn't load, to [email protected]

Also by any chance do you use any characters that can polymorph? There's an evidence that we may have found the reason, if there are some in your party.
