I love CRPGs in general and am absolutely loving Baldurs Gate 3 and also getting into Pathfinder which I had never played before.

One thing I can kind of say is that the scale and grandeur of Pathfinder, especially WOTR, and the sheer depth in the mechanics from character building through to gameplay is immense and on a different level to Baldurs Gate 3.

With this being a potential revival point for CRPGs made with large production value and budgets (harkening back to Dragon Age days and further back) it made me think, if Pathfinder delivered a game with similar production value in voice acting, cutscenes, graphics whilst retaining the grandiose story and amazing pathfinder system depth, would it compare, exceed or still be too inaccessible for many gamers?

Keep your voice down, they might hear.

Also, Lich raising those bastards back to fight their pals was deeply satisfying.
