Do you know if this is connected to the Crusade mode not being accessible at the start of Act 2 for saves started prior to EE?

I put in a bug report for it, but I had been doing a Sadistic Game Design run, game updated to EE right after I reached the Gray Garrison. I finished Act 1, and upon loading into Act 2, the flags on the top allowing me to switch between my party and my crusade armies.
I don't use mods, and all crusade options are toggled on. Forts appear on the map, but no enemy armies, and I cannot progress past that full fort.
I've tried reloading Act 2 and trying again, buying/not buying the reinforcements, bringing Galfrey, not bringing Galfrey, verifying cache, the works. Asked on reddit, no one else has encountered the glitch, which is why I'm thinking it's somehow specific to where my save game was during the update.
I don't know if I should hold for a fix, or just take the licks and restart. Real bummer to redo the hardest Act for the achievement, but it might just be the way.
Do you remember the exact wording of the report so I can search by keywords? We'll investigate.
Has the controller support infinite running bug been fixed yet?. Also those on epic games store are having the 100% loading bug for DLC with the most recent hotfix.
For the second problem I can advise to delete all files except Saved Games, Portraits and Screenshots from C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous
Usually it helps in all cases where the game is stuck at loading. Please let me know if it helped.

Does this address the Midnight Isles boss spawn on island 9 campaign mode as well?

Hello, I already reported this via in-game. But I wanted to ask if this is an acknowledged bug since I haven't seen anyone posting it in here. My animal companions don't have a profile anymore, the drop down menu from the owner character doesn't exist, I cannot level them up for the first time, I cannot access their inventory or anything. This worked on the release of the enhanced edition so 2.0.0.x but not on 2.0.1.x

There's a cosmetic bug I've been running into: sometimes when removing items, or hiding them via the menu, they'll remain on the paper doll, and still render on the character. (For example, unequipping a pair of bracers will leave those bracers rendered on the character.)
It seems to be related to whether the character was wearing that item when loading into the current map.
Replacing an item seems to work without issue, but removing or hiding it does not.
Saving and reloading will clear the issue, but it will occur again.
I encountered it during the Midnight Isles DLC, and it may be exclusive to that mode, (I've mostly been playing Midnight Isles lately.)

I submitted as a critical bug with something along the lines of "At the start of Act 2, I am unable to switch into Crusade mode." As the main brunt of it. I included more details, but I can't remember exactly what wording I used.
If it would help, I can put in another bug report and respond with that exact wording either tonight when I'm off work or tomorrow morning.

Here's a good one for ya'll. Game is completely bricked for all intents and purposes from the character creation screen. Attempting to create a new character, the game will not acknowledge the choice of any alignment on the alignment chart, so can't progress to the end of character creation and so cannot actually play the game. I just finished the in-game bug report a moment ago.
Using any mods?
That was it apparently. Damn now I feel dumb. I thought turning them off (as well as the fact that I don't use any that make themselves mandatory after first install and the fact that this issue has never come up for me despite numerous updates with the game and mods installed now) would make it work. Sorry to uh...bug ya'll then haha.
