I know it's not going to happen, unless in a short period of time since Larian wants to do smaller things but I would still like to know your opinions.

We've never excluded a possibility for more PF games indeed. 40k is in the spotlight right now, but that doesn't mean we've suddenly lost our love for Pathfinder :) Time will tell. Don't take it as confirmation of any sort though, it is simply thoughts on the matter. As for 1E and 2E, it's more about having so much finished groundwork for 1E which would become obsolete if switching the ruleset, rather than some specific prejudice against 2E.
