This is my first playthrough of the game, Its been 3 weeks since ive got this bug where the Lost Chapel crashes while loading at 84% no matter which savefile. The problem comes with the fact all my other savefiles outside of the LC got deleted except for one just before entering the LC (which surprise surprise, also crashes when entering the Lost Chapel) and another one all the way to the Defender's Heart.

Ive been basically locked from continuing my playthrough and for the last 3 weeks and Owlcat hasnt fixed the goddamn bug despite me sending a dozen of bug reports about it.

Yep, unfortunately we have a lingering issue with certain Mac hardware setups that we have been trying to solve for weeks. Mostly it's black screen/crashes at commander's tent, Lost Chapel, Gwerm's mansion and a couple of other locations. A whole dedicated team is busy with it for a while now, but there's no consistent solution yet, and some Mac users still suffer.

Truly sorry that it takes so long, you can be sure we're doing all we can there. It's indeed particularly resistant :(

Would you recommend Baldur‘s Gate 3 or Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous for a newbie to CRPGs who has only played Wasteland 3 so far? I‘d be playing on the Steam Deck (or my Macbook in the case of Pathfinder)
