I'm about to finish Kingmaker (no spoilers for ending, please) and I was wondering if I can start WotR right away or are there any significant patches on the way?
I'm asking since we all know how Kingmaker was regarding bugs etc. and I'd prefer to avoid those in WotR.

External link →Not at all - there's no reason your saves shouldn't work. What the original comment meant was that it's better to delay by a week or two so you they don't miss out on the extra content from the EE.
Most of the extra content is endgame. If you start without EE, it won't be a problem, except for lack of some new UI features it brings. But they aren't crucial for playthrough, just make it more comfortable.
