Was wondering if anyone is playing this on ps5 yet, or consoles for that matter. And if its running good with current patches? I can't find any console reviews or gameplay. I have it on pc but would like to get it again on ps5 for another play through. But I got kingmaker on ps4 when it released and it was barely playable.
External link →I am in act 2 on ps5. In general, it works well - solid 60 fps 95% of the time. Couple of bugs though even with newest patch.
Arcanist (and all it's archetypes) is broken. Cannot prepare spells. Known issue, they are working on a fix. I unfortunately had to roll seeker sorcerer instead.
Sometimes it happens that for some reason your tooltips that should get in foreground stay in background and there's no way to get them out of there. They react to buttons and everything, you just cannot see them. I think it happened twice to me so far. And nothing works, not even reloading save, you need to restart the game and reload the save that way (fortunately even if you save in this state, it will fix itself after restart). This is probably the most annoying thing I encountered so far.
Sometimes the gamepad buttons don't react on the first press, but do react on the 2nd. Doesn't happen too often though.
And the Midnight Isles DLC is also kinda broken. First of all this was the only part of the game where I encountered performance issues, specifically there was an island with a lot of fire and it was constant sub 20 fps bullshit. Second, when you choose the island to embark to, the party selection screen doesn't come up at all. It is in background, you can interact with it but you cannot see it. Which is not much of an issue, you just have to remember what it looks like and what button does what, so you don't accidentally remove your party members (yeah, I did that...).
This is probably most if not all that I noticed so far.
The issue with the character selection window in the DLC is known and should be fixed soon.
