[2022] No more 2 Prestige classes in patch 1.4?

I read from some people that in 1.4 patch it' not possible to get 2 prestige classes like for instance with Hellknight Signifier and Eldrich Knight. Is this a bug? Or is it a change that destroys builds again for no reason? I ask because maybe I wanted to do a proper melee Lich in a future run.

It's the same unfinished merged spellbook fix that already popped up in 1.3.7. Ignore it for the time being, it's not ready yet and is in beta for some testing purposes.
