Deskari is the son of the demon lord Pazuzu who had a relationship with a giant insect demon. The name of that demon is unknown, but clearly, she was destroyed as Deskari created his terrifying scythe, Riftcarver, from her remains. http://pbs.twimg.com/tweet_video_thumb/FfWZlZyXkAE95kW.jpg

Deskari lived in the shade of his powerful father until he developed his own cult and became a demon lord himself. Demons and their worshipers have long been active in the vicinity of Sarkoris because the boundary between the two worlds was especially thin in that region.

Even back in the year 4433, the Abyssal hordes and Aroden himself waged a grand battle in the region now known as the Worldwound. The forces of good had triumphed then, as the god of humanity defeated Deskari's minions and drove the surviving demons back.

And for almost 200 years Deskari was hiding in his realm. Until Areelu Vorlesh discovered the thinness of the planar barrier in Sarcoris and conspired with the Lord of the Locust.
