Finally, we managed to fix it. However, not long ago this epic story had a spin-off - the crossbow suddenly revealed itself in the new game, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Right in the Main Menu!
It bothered the developers for a long time, and nobody had a clue how to get rid of it. Here's the story:
Tome for mysterious bug stories! A year ago we've told you a story about the mysterious crossbow in Pathfinder: Kingmaker, that used to hang on every single map, at 0 coordinate. At some zones, it could be visible for players, and somewhere it was hidden

A new patch 1.1.5f is here! We've fixed the issue with Hold Person, Mass, and it will no longer hold you back! We've also fixed crashes upon loading some areas on macOS, and optimized some aspects of the game to improve its performance.
