i just deleveled an old standard char to 35, went to act 3, bought all white gear, made a level 35 tree. got all the gems from lily. only resistances came from 2 two-stone rings and a bit from tree.
so with ele resistances between -15 and -30, no flask affixes, lv1 gems, no quicksilver.......delving is....i wouldnt say impossible, but i wouldnt do it in hc.
i saw the starting uniques, but nothing about pre-crafted flasks (at least anti-freeze), some basic blue res gear (...at least cold res), a white amulet of our choice and our active damage skill gem needs to be pre-levelled to whatever level gems have in act 3 (lv10 i guess).
if all this has been covered already, pls point me to the thread. thx
edit: didnt know we start at lv1. also im stupid and it seems to get only worse
