Just my opinion from an old guy that works too much. I wish the first event started today. Us working folks have a long 4 day weekend. By the 4th I'll be back to the grind and have very little playtime trying to get things done before the Christmas holiday. Understand that is not everyone's situation... but guarantee it is for a lot of us.

Don't leagues take seconds(or a few minutes) to set up, as Chris once famously said? So, You've collectively decided not to do something cool for the community.
I believe what Chris was referring to was running the create line that starts the event. This is indeed very quick to do. However, it's not the only thing that needs to happen in order to make an event.
