The schedule of categories is listed in the news post. What the category contains is the same each type it appears, so once it appears one time it'll be apparent what's in it the next time.
Wait...say the item I want is for sale at the time slot of 3 AM - 4 AM and I miss it, then it goes back up to full price for the remainder of the Thanksgiving sale? That's not fun if so
If the item you want goes on sale, it'll go on sale again another three times at offset times of day so that it'll be around at a time that should be convenient for you. The discount it has will be the same each time it appears.
Will Angels and Demons be split among some themes or am I out of luck?
Angels and Demons microtransaction aren't part of the sale as they're too new to receive such a big discount. However, those mystery boxes are available in the store for the weekend if you wanted to grab some stuff that way.
I wish you guys would list the discounted price and show the original price of the item underneath them in the store page. Makes it way easier to see what items got massive discount.
When you go to the specials section, it's currently ordered by biggest discount at the top. I understand that's different to what you're asking but it's at least one indicator.

Not trying to sound ungrateful because I am looking forward to buying a lot of shit this year.. but as a 35 year old whale with a job and kids and everything this would be much better if I could just log in once and get what I need. Lot of folks are taking a break until the event of their choice starts.
That's understandable. In 2014 we held a sale where we put everything in the store at 50% off, which generated a lot of sales at the time but absolutely destroyed our sales for several months following that. Since then, we've had a lot of requests to run that sale again but we can't because it causes an overall drop in sales. Putting things on sale with big discounts is only possible if we do it for a really short window. Things like Celestial microtransactions would be totally excluded. So it's a compromise so that there is some sale stuff happening without it destroying future sales as badly. We hope that by having the schedule out in advance and each thing repeating at various times of days can help people be around to grab the things that they want.

I think what this sale shows off unintentionally is how out of date and non-user friendly the MTX shop interface is when you're accessing it through a web browser.
There's no way to see whats the actual discount, just the final price after sale.
There's no way to sort the sale items by type or category, you just get a big dump of items in no order.
There's no preview system that shows lets you see it on a character model, you get pushed out to external youtube videos.
These are all normal, market standard features every other game has which would make me spend more money on MTX. GGG hasn't developed them yet because it's a resourcing issue and they don't have the capacity, or its a legacy system issue and the MTX shop is based off ancient code? Interested to see why GGG has left the shop the way it is.
There are lots of little changes we want to me to the shop but it always becomes little thing + other little thing, then if we do those we better do other little thing and all of a sudden it’s ballooned into a huge overhaul. We definitely want to make some improvements to it like the things you suggested. The other issue is that even though we have three web developers now, their time is almost always booked with high priority work.
