Hey guys,

Since nobody recognize Le Toucan in the south island (actually we found 2 Poe fan and even chatted with one), here is some place you'll be able to find us in the north island. Don't hesitate to say hi, it'll we be a pleasure to encounter exile in the wild!

9/11-Wellington: 4:30 PM te papa museum 7PM zealandia

10/11-Tongariro

11/11-Waitomo: 2PM Toucan will go delving

12/11-Rotorua 2PM canopy tour

13/11-Rotorua: Waimangu volcanic valley

14/11-Coromandel: 11AM Hobbiton

15/11-Coromandel: Tbd

16/11-Aukland: Guess where ^

Also, I would like to thanks /u/Nexra for increasing the pool prize!

The pool prize, in standard, is now : - 20/20 corrupted item quantity - an original Reach Of The Council - 2 headhunters - a mysterious gift

Everyone that found us and give us their Reddit or Poe username will be eligible to receive something, we have not decided yet how we will be sharing the pool prize.

Good hunt!

If you're going to Rotorua/Coromandel here are some spots I personally recommend:
*Rotorua Hot Pools - Lots of varied hotpools. You can camp there overnight. It's about 30 minutes from town or 15 minutes off track on your way in/out of town.
* Hellsgate - This is a classic tourist spot but it's pretty remarkable.
* Rotorua Lion Park - It's basically a lion enclosure with a petting zoo attached but it's pretty cool and not far from town.
* Rotorua Luge - This is one of those classic must-do things in Rotorua. Luge is 2 spooky 4 me though.
* Bay Brewery - If you end up in Whitianga in Coromandel, I highly recommend this bistro. It's a husband/wife duo where the wife is an excellent chef and the husband makes excellent beer on site. Whitianga is also just generally a nice spot to stop in.
* 309 Road - This road travels from Coromandel Town to Whitianga, so regardless of which end you start at you get to experience stops on the road and good places to stop at each end. There are walks, waterfalls and the waterpark along here - also you won't find it listed anywhere but there's a man who lives on this road who feeds wild pigs so you can stop and feed pigs because they gather there. He also often has piglets and might bring you one to cuddle. This is not a professional thing at all so I wouldn't recommend stopping here unless you're comfortable with all types of people.

Oh - also - don't be alarmed when you get to Rotorua and notice that it smells. You get used to it. Edit: lol since people keep asking why it smells - it’s a volcanic area. It smells like sulphur.

Bex, any suggestions for things around Auckland. I'm struggling to find things to do, kings thinking I should have stayed a few more days in Rotorua.

Visit Piha. Take a ferry to Waiheke Island. Go to the zoo. Go to Kelly Tarltons aquarium. Go to the top of One Tree Hill and see a 360 degree view of Auckland. There’s a theme park - Rainbows End, But my understanding is it’s pretty weak compared to theme parks in other countries.
