So, the only change here is that the tool we use for laying out the Atlas was massively improved. The designer who did the layout ensured that each map had a minimum of four neighbours in Sextant distance (and therefore an be affected by five sextants).

So the range (basically, the visual range, that's all we really need to care about) of sextants hasn't been increased? Because Burial Chambers, Waterways, Conservatory all look significantly further than the normal sextant range. For example, here's Burial Chambers (the case this tweet is related to) with the current sextant range put over it. Assuming I haven't been trolled and this image is accurate to the current size (I did not make the image, credit to Aquagen in the discord for showing it to me and possible making it), it's not really close, there's a noticeable gap there.

Mine looks fine, and I am pretty sure the range has not increased. https://i.imgur.com/8MzWuof.png

I've noticed since War that people seem to have exceedingly poor intuition for how big sextant range already is.

Unlike threshold jewels, they only require a map to be touched rather than the center of a map to be encompassed. That accounts for part of the misunderstanding. The other part is that people are bad at distances.

I had wondered if this was because we posted the Atlas image, and not a screen shot.
