Current Flickerstrike hype - wondering if you can get hit during flickering / do you take damage from ground Degen if you flicker on a target?! How does this work?

Oh i was under the impression you where always stationary, including the teleport. I suppose you are stationary before and after the teleport, so in practice its only the boots that are affected. Anything that requires you to be stationary like arctic armour will still work while you are attacking

When you teleport, you move, but because this doesn't take any time to happen, there is no point at time at which you "are moving". So you are stationary at all times, and are never moving, but you did move.

This is unintuitive, but that's not so much the game's fault as the concept of moving instantly being itself quite unintuitive in terms of how we use language.

If you're using flicker strike:

"When you move" will trigger

"While you're moving" won't

because you lose the charges from Ralakesh's Impatience when you move, you'll lose the charges. Despite this, because the extra damage from bleed happens "while moving" you won't take extra damage from bleed, because you spend no time moving.

This is correct. While doing teleports, you are stationary and are not moving, but you do move. So you:

  • Get bonuses that apply "while stationary" the whole time.
  • Do not get bonuses that apply "while moving" at any point.
  • Things that happen "when you move" do happen at the point you teleport.
