Same methods same everything, just do it in a 100% deli map, the loot from ultimatum will cap but your deli rewards will keep stacking.

You can easily see the interaction solo by just doing any deli map and running to the trial master. Need a group to reset the timer.

It might seem silly to ask this, but considering GGG doesn't have the best track record in finding and fixing those weird behaviors on the code of the game, then I hope GGG has actually reproduced this new infinite trial duration bug in order to make this claim of yours and they aren't just relying on the way the system was designed to affirm that.

Moreover, even if players aren't gaining delirium progress to juice up their drops, can't they still get a standard amount of drops from delirium mobs that continually spawn, since the delirium countdown timer is frozen by the infinite ultimatum duration?

QA are still poring through more options just in case there is some fringe case. That said:

  • For survival, I automated standing in the circle for one frame every 5 seconds while constantly killing mobs in a 100% delirious map. Mobs stopped giving items/experience/Delirium progress after a while, as expected. Mobs spawned by Delirium fog also stopped giving items/experience/Delirium progress. Here

is what my progress looked like after 2 full waves (about 10 minutes). A lot of that progress was also from the map's regular mobs aggroing onto me as I stood outside the circle.

  • I also looked at stone circles, since they have the same setup but are easier to test since there is nothing to stop you killing mobs until the spawners run out (which yes, does happen eventually). I did so and got the same result. Here's that one

after the spawners have run out, about 5 minutes.

did you test this with the beyond mod on the map?

We did just to be sure, though monsters that don't drop items or give experience also not opening Beyond portals is standard behaviour. There would be a lot of bigger concerns if that wasn't the case.
