It may not be a great idea to rely on Talisman nodes for a good amulet. Not only are they fairly rare (2 nodes in 500 depths on Heist SSF, 6 nodes in 900 depth on Standard SSF), they appear to be currently bugged:
Talismans dropping magic and without anoint between depth 300-900 (Standard SSF, Delve seed migrated from Delirium SSF)

Last GGG response regarding Talismans dropping unanointed on Oct 7th
Dropped Talismans in level 68+ areas now drop with higher-tier modifiers on average and with a random Anointed Notable.
What we know about the bug:
- Talismans should not be dropping unanointed at ilvl 68 or greater.
- Talismans should almost always drop rare with the better rolled affix system.
- This bug is affecting several league types (Standard/Heist, SSF/Trade)
- This bug affects both PC and Console.
If you have sulphite to spare, please reply to the first linked bug report with screenshot containing the Talisman from Delve Talisman nodes, including Depth, League, and bug report # in the screenshot. You may need to hold your "show all items" hotkey as magic talismans are hidden by default.
This is a priority issue before the Endless Delve race, although Primal Incubators are probably going to be more common. Would appreciate additional data to submit. Cheers.
Update: apparently the Talisman monsters are using the Talisman league talisman generation spaghetti, which wasn't included in the Talisman rework. Chris's favorite league never left us.
