Hey there! The Malice Weapon is use-able with any sword, axe, or mace (one handed and two handed).

I did a quick test to see how this microtransaction interacts with the different weapon base types for you:

If you use a two handed mace or a two handed axe you'll get the scythe appearance, and each of the one-handed weapon types will appear as a sword. Using a two handed sword with this microtransaction will display as a slightly larger version of the one handed weapon.
