Dual Strike currently says: "Attacks with both weapons, dealing the damage of both in one strike. Dual wield only. Does not work with wands."
It doesn't specify any weapon type except excluding wands. It only says "dual wield only" and "both weapons".
Now generally, unarmed does not count as a weapon, so by that logic, hollow palm should not work.
But as viperesque said here, dual wield was assumed to be enough of a restriction on specific passive nodes, making the weapon restriction on them not actually apply, meaning that dual wield unarmed already worked with them.
Now the question is: Did GGG use the same sort of restriction on dual strike, just checking for dual wield and not for an equipped weapon? Would that mean Hollow Palm Technique would make Dual Strike usable unarmed?
Would really appreciate any info on this from GGG.
