The buffed chalice of Horrors now reads the following way:

Inflict Decay on ennemies you curse with hex or mark skills, dealing 700 chaos damage per second for 8 seconds.

In the past, decay could only be applied on hit with skills supported by decay support, or on hit while using an essence of delirium weapon. The decay damage then retained the damage bonuses from the skills applying it (tree, supports, gear).

Now that we can apply decay with Bane (a hex skill) does the damage from decay benefit from bane more multipliers from curses applied, as well as bane support gems and gear even though it is applied without a hit.

TLDR: decay from chalice of horrors, does damage from decay benefit from Bane support gems and more damage multiplier even though it doesn’t hit.

No. You apply decay in this case, not the curse skill (and definitely not a different skill applying the curse). No skill's stats apply, but your stats will.
