PTS Servers are scheduled to come back online around 5:00pm PT with the updates below. Test Server installation can be found here: http://launch.daybreakgames.com/installer/PS2_Test_setup.exe Outfit Wars - Alpha Cycle 2 Ruleset We have made major revisions to how Outfit Wars functions both from a ruleset perspective, and a technological standpoint. Please test these changes through the weekend so we can deliver a better overall experience for Alpha Cycle 2. Alpha Cycle 2 enlistment starts on May 1st. We'll reveal the entirety of the schedule soon. Phasing Revisited Outfit Wars now uses three separate Qualification Phases that take place over three days and have Rest Periods in between them. We have a fix for this checked in as of last night, and will need server downtime to get it pushed Live. Thanks goes out to the community members who were helping us look into it over the weekend.

No-deployment zones were a huge struggle for me as well! However, iirc there should be color options for no-deploy/orbital strike zones under the interface tab.

Right now, anything and everything! I enjoyed working on some projectile mechanics and the death cam before, so developing something along that line in the future would be fun

It was never a planned feature. I had the idea while working on piercing projectiles and in a free moment I spent 30 minutes or so and had a proof of concept. However, it crashed the game in a way that would have required more development time to fix than I/we could give it.

Edit: I realized that I didn't fully answer your question. With my quick concept, bullets could reflect off of most terrain, but not players or NPC's. With the proper interaction, it could be made to ricochet off vehicles.

I did! It was something I prototyped while originally developing the piercing mechanic. I have no idea if it will ever see serious attention, but I really enjoyed playing around with it!
