  • All PC servers will come down for the following update on Wednesday, November 17, at 12:00pm PST (10:00pm CEST).
  • All PS4 servers will come down for the same update on Thursday, November 18, at 8:00am PST (6:00pm CEST).
  • Downtime for either update is expected to last up to 3 hours.
Developer's Foreword Hey there, everyone. I wanted to take a moment to thank you, the players, for a wonderful year of PlanetSide 2. About this time last year, we mentioned during our last Livestream that 2021 would be all about shoring up cracks in the foundation. Throughout the past year (let alone over the past nine,) there's been no shortage of ambitious projects. Exploring tournament-style competition, raising up a monumental new facility type, overhauling an entire faction, and revamping the new player experience... it's a lot for a single year, and we're not quite done.
