Today, we’re excited to debut a special commercial in celebration of this year’s global #PokemonGOFest2020 and the joy of being alongside Pokémon in the real world.

Special Pokémon are now appearing in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and appearing in raids—notably Flying Pikachu! 🎈 If you’re lucky, you might find a Shiny Flying Pikachu!

Larvitar is this month’s Research Breakthrough encounter! If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Larvitar.

Update from Professor Willow:

Candela stormed into my lab today and threw crumpled scraps of paper on my desk. “I was training my Ponyta out in the field, and I found these. At first, I thought they were trash. After seeing who they belonged to, turned out I was right!”

After a day passed without any clues, Spark came to my lab with two pieces of paper that depicted Team GO Rocket figures.

After returning from a research trip during our solstice event, Blanche carefully placed scraps of paper on my desk. “Something’s up,” Blanche muttered. Looking at the “R” logo on the paper, I knew it wasn’t good.
