Is there any way to revert to the previous version of the game? I am not dissing the new water accentuated version, but I enjoyed the older version more as a simple and easy distraction.
I would like to keep the older version on my phone and run the newer version on my tablet. But if that is not possible, for personal use, I would choose to play the older version against AI over the new version.
Any way to get the old version back?

As someone who only plays against bots I’m no fan of this update. The bots are stupid as hell!! I’m playing on crazy difficulty and I see tribes with a level 1 village at the end of the game, and some bots are just spamming shield people. Ridiculous…
We're looking into the AI. Promise.
Please make 1.9 playable again. I spent hours upon hours playing this game years ago and I miss it. I try every now and then playing the up to date version and hate it.

Honestly, it's totally subjective to how I play. Back when I played years ago, I loved the challenge of getting "exalted" like, 100%ing every tribe. Before I had to replace my phone, I 100%ed all of the tribes in domination and perfection on crazy difficulty with nine total tribes. I figured the hardest it could be, right? But since you've updated with the lack of customs houses and removed whales, can't get giants from treasure tiles, i think v1.9 (I know it was broken but I loved it), I have tried 100s if not 1000s of times on different tribes and I cannot for the life of me do it playing against eight bots. It's impossible. It's removed the reason why I played and enjoyed days upon days of playing. That's the main reason, there are more. But that's the killer for me personally.
Well, we can tell you that we haven't really made the bots any smarter - they're very much still beatable.

I'm unsure if you've played polytopia, but if you're playing domination against 8 other bots, and one of them kills another bot before you can get to it, you don't get 100%. So regardless if i dominate the tiles in 30 moves, I don't get 100% anymore.

So can you develop a toggle when opening the app that let's you select an earlier version? I have scoured the Internet and there is a huge market for it. I am not alone in feeling this way. You could charge for it.
That's just not the game we want to make.
We realized that the systems the game relied on were flawed and ultimately prevented us from developing. We couldn't add new features, we couldn't balance, etc. So we had to make the changes we made so that we could keep the game going. And because naval combat was boring.
And besides, we're all happy to see the OP Battleships go. :)
