[2022] Didn’t getting 3 stars used to unlock a new tribe?

I could have swore that was a thing. It took me a few years of very casual play to FINALLY get over 95%, and I was excited to finally try a new tribe, but apparently that’s not how it works now. New tribes are cash-only.

Was this ever a thing, or did I make it up in my head?
