Polytopians reproduce genderless and lay eggs. To our common sense, fish and birds also lay eggs. So there might be a chance there are no reproductive isolations between polytopians... and the fishes. Or the Qui-quis even. That's probably how Aquarians and people of the new Quetzali skin came into existence. Some drunk ass Imperius scholar hooked up with some fish. And poof. Aquarion.

Another thing is, it's obvious that a rare giant gene exists among the polytopians, since a giant is summoned once your city upgrades by adding population. That's because as the base number of the population goes up, there is a greater chance for rare recessive genes to express. Simple math.

Will be coming back with more Polytopia biology facts.

To my understanding, what the Devs meant by "genderless" is that they reproduce asexually.

So the aquarion theory you presented doesn't make much sense

Yep...and the fact thay they're all the same sex.
