[2022] can we get some basic chat?

I don't need to be able to tell my life story but it would be nice to be able to say "good game" or "be back soon" or "you got lucky" or "I hate that tribe" whatever! We need some sort of chat mechanic. Even if it's the type where you choose pre written messages from a list.
