I think that’s all Aquarion needs, to get honest. It’s easily one of the best late game tribes, the only issue is getting to that point.

I like the diplomats must meet idea. Perhaps as part of the game settings there could also be a setting on the number of paces diplomats must be apart from in other to declare war again. Could add for some interesting dynamics around how long you have to prepare for treachery...
I can tell you that the method of setting up peace is a lot less convoluted than using 2 Diplomats. :P

They'll still totally attack you even if there at "peace". We like to think of it less as "an alliance" and more like "a friendly cold war".
