[2020] Why are Jackal,Cav banned every single game

Jackal gets banned because he counters an entire form of play. He's an anti-roamer, and for teams or players who rely heavily on deep roams or late flanks, he can be very frustrating to play against or plan for.

Cav, on the other hand, doesn't get banned all that much. In high elo play, she's banned about 2%, so I guess it just depends on what rank you're in. At any rate, a good Cav player can decimate a badly coordinated team. Once one person goes off by themselves, it's a free kill for her and free intel for her team.

I'm not sure removing operators players paid for from Ranked would go over well with our players. Plus, even though those operators get banned a lot, not every Ranked match features a Jackal-Cav ban. For example, Thatcher has been getting banned a ton recently.
