Hi Everyone!

(My english isn't too good, sorry for that.)

So, let's begin. I watched so many videos on YouTube about R6S, which try to teach others how to play generally, and specially with operators gadgets. I "studied" the game itself too (peekers advantage... ect). All this before I bought the game, btw.

I've done the situations, and I started playing two month ago. First of all, I played only newcomer (and for warm up a bit T hunt of course), because this mode contains only three maps, and allowed below level 50 only. In the first times, it was hard for me (YES, even on this mod) but I learned the maps in custom game, and I could catch up. I enjoyed the game.

Few weeks later I reach that magically level 50, and everything changed, like sky and ground. I started to play quick (casual) matches, but after so many losed rounds and matches without any kill, I'm done with it, because takes too much time to learn all of the maps. Furthermore I can't enjoy the game against silvers, golds, and sometimes plats especially against level 100-300 players. That's why I started to play ranked, because contains only 12 maps, and ranked the players. The first 10 matches was pretty hard, I lose 8 of them, died most of times and almost can't kill anybody, like in quick match. But I hope, after I got my rank the game will be fair with me. I mean: enemies with around same level, almost same ranks, almost same skills like me. But No!!!... It didn't.

I learned few other ranked maps, but my performance is still almost zero, even in the basic maps too. After so many fails, noticed myself: I almost forget how to shoot.
My self-confidence decreases down 999 kilometers under the ground. No matter what I do, same end.

I am level 58 right now, and asking: Why do I have to play against far more better players, with far more level and far more map knowledge and far more shooting skill, even ranked!? I am bronze 3 right now, but I bet my MMR decreases down to the copper level soon. It's a miracle, that I even reach the bronze level! It's like playing a completely different game...

It's quite normal or what? Do I despair too soon? Can someone explain to me, how the hell should I do better!? Except simply stop playing with R6S of course, before these stupid trolls open their mounth, haha.

Hi Arbaniel!

Sieg has a steep learning curve, so I understand where your frustration is coming from. When you look at the game as a whole, there are a ton of mechanics and small details to learn that would help you in the long run. We have a site called R6 Academy that is full of educational videos that teach you map layouts, how to push certain sites, things to avoid as a newcomer/beginner and a bunch more. If you're looking for additional assistance, I would suggest joining the R6 Discord! The community there is made of players from all over the world with different ranks and experience levels. If you hop in there I'm sure you'll find some players who are interested in playing.

My response was in reference to him asking is there anything he can do to get better at the game. Our dev team is aware players are being matched with individuals they normally wouldn't be matched with, which also why I provided a link to our Discord.
