Hello all, I have recently returned to gaming after a little hiatus, and decided to download siege again. I log on and are greeted with a permanently banned for cheating message. So, I contact support, put in a ticket and received a very swift response. Now, I have never cheated in any game, and after doing some research on the web, I did find many people who were mistakenly banned and had theirs lifted. I even found videos and threads with notorious players who were banned and had them lifted. So I figured Ubi would do their due diligence and look into it. I was wrong. I was replied to with what seemed to be a tin can response, indicating that all the games on that account were banned due to a breach of the code of conduct. Support went on to say, that the ban will not be lifted and they do not have the ability to overturn it. Fine, I get it, they cant really do anything. So I sent them a response asking to possibly elevate this issue to someone who can make decisions and maybe provide a somewhat detailed response as to what the actual heck is going on. Now, I have heard that their support is pretty horrible, i am still awaiting a response but are fearing the worst. I asked in my recent reply if I needed to be aware of any malicious activity on my account, but i did not see anything in my email linked with that account indicating anyone tried to log on or anything. Am I supposed to just throw my hands up and say okay, take my money, with little to no description as to what happened. I have thrown quite a bit of money at that game and had it since beta, really wishing someone, the right person from Ubi can provide some clarification and not just a copy paste statement. As it stands, Support is the only team that really has the available resources to assist you with this, as it stands. When you opened this ticket, i assume you did so through our standard support website? We also have Player support forums here and on Steam, as well as a support Twitter and Facebook page.
