Hadn't played the game for about 2 years as my laptop couldn't run it well but I got a new PC and so installed the game. After loading it up, I instantly received a message saying I was banned for 'bad game data' and found I couldn't play any of the game modes. I verified and reinstalled and everything, and it didn't help

About 2 hours later I received an email saying I was permanently banned for cheating. I raised a ticket with Ubisoft and 3 weeks later, they told me they had "irrefutable evidence" I was cheating and that I wouldn't be able to appeal it.

I'm not naive enough to think complaining on here will change anything, but I'm just annoyed that they permanently banned me without even the base level of investigation and then to say they had evidence in what I assume was an automated response.

If anyone knows how to make them actually investigate it I would like to know but I don't have high hopes, have uninstalled the game and regret giving Ubisoft so much money over the years.

Did you open a support ticket at all? All ban appeals are done through the support portal here.[support.ubisoft.com]

If the ban was upheld by our Support team, then there's nothing more they can do. I'd like to wish you the best in your future gaming endeavours.
