I bought the game on the Epic Games launcher and am having an issue where if I launch the game from the Epic Launcher It loads the ubisoft connect application, says Logging in and then closes with no reason. If I launch the games .exe file it asks for an activation code that I never recieved in my purchase, I expect to be able to play a game I buy so how do I go about that.
Hello i_Dobby_ thank you for contacting us about your Epic game purchase and sorry to see you are unable to launch the game without it asking for a key. Would you be able to try the following exit program steps, then let me know if this resolves this launching issue for you -
• Close the Epic Games Launcher.
• Go to your system tray, at the bottom right side of your screen.
• Find the Epic Games Launcher icon and right-click the icon.
• Select Exit from the menu that appears.
• Go back to the system tray and check if the Ubisoft Connect logo is there.
• If it is, right-click the logo.
• Select Quit from the menu that appears.
• Lastly, restart the Epic Games Launcher and launch your Ubisoft game.
If this does not work, could you instead launch the Ubisoft Connect launcher as administrator, find the game in your library and launch the game from Ubisoft Connect instead to see if this method stops the game asking for a key?
