Okay so, not sure how to address this, but the face paint on Gridlock's Full Moon Road head gear looks too much like she's wearing Blackface. The head gear equipment is fine, but that face paint needs to go or be modified.
Now before anyone rushes to defend this face paint, let me just say, I don't think the company is racist; just that this was done in poor taste. I'm not sure when this head gear was added, because I don't play Gridlock as an operator; but I can tell you that the moment I saw someone wearing this face paint in the game I was immediately offended.
Now Ubisoft, I know yours is a Canadian/French company so perhaps you overlooked the painful history behind this type of imagery. Understandable. But I feel the need to point this out to you and you can do with it what you will. I took the time to review all the other operators' face paint in the game and Gridlock's is the only one that I found offensive. I'm not saying that there can't be dark face paints in the game, Valkyrie's Driver face paint is done quite well; but Gridlock's stirs the wrong emotions. So let's just remove or edit it.
I hope you'll take heed and not simply delete my post or lock this thread. I don't think I'm the only one that doesn't like the appearance of this face paint. I know I've called you out in the past for only having one black operator in the first three years of the game; and to your credit you added Clash, Wamai, and Melusi. I hope you'll hear me this time as well, as this is a serious concern. Please and thank you.
