When I launch Rainbow6 from steam the game says that i don't own the game even thought i bought it. To be clear i bought the game on steam and then got uplay. I have had no problems up until today. Before this, if i had gone to my library in uplay i would say that i do own R6 but now it just shows nothing and i just dont know why. My steam account is linked but it wasn't before. What i'm trying right now is to reinstall the game and just wait. I dont think that it was because i didnt install the test server but whatever. Also, when i launch the game (now) it says that all my dlc's (year 3 etc) will be on my unbisoft account and then the game continues to just say that i dont own it. if anyone has any idea of how to help please notify me. just wanna play some R6 and it says no.

This account that you have created the post from does not own Siege, so if you are logged into this account in Uplay PC, you won't be able to play. You need to log into the correct account on Uplay PC that was linked originally to the Steam version of the game. If you need further assistance locating the account. Can you please contact us on Facebook or twitter with an image from this file path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\ownership

This is a sad development related to Uplay and whatever the devs thinks is a good idea. Sadly it prevents customers to enjoy otherwise brilliant titles.
I will never again buy anything that uses Uplay. The same goes for my friends that stated the same. It is just not worth it.

Security and all with account handling is a good approach, but when it gets rediculous to this point, I'm out (and another large group).

Are referring to the fact that you have to download two versions of Siege if one Siege was purchased through Uplay PC, and one through Steam?
