I actually really like this idea, because it can be immensely frustrating to have a pest wasted in this manner.

Hmm. My only concern with this, is that by making it indestructible initially after getting caught, it also would make it a bit more difficult for an attacker to try and shoot their drone before Mozzie takes control, especially if it's in a spot where they'd have to expose themselves to shoot it. It could lead to some seemingly unfair deaths I believe.
