This game feels unplayable right now. The toxicity and griefing has exponentially increased, and greatly contrasts from players in the game's earlier stages. Nowadays there are votekicks that go through for no acceptable reason as well as intentional team killing and griefing that makes the game unplayable. Votekicks don't work because your team is in a premade of 3 and reports have no effect on players that clearly deserve a ban. In multiple quickplay games I have had teammates undeniably take the time out of the round to chase across the map to teamkill me.
One game was a 5v4 with our team having 5. On attack I try to change my spawn multiple times; they constantly try to spawn in the same spawn point. Even when I successfully spawn away from them, they run across the map just for the teamkill. I ask them, why and one says "It's only fair". Imagine you can't play because of a premade thinking it's reasonable to force a 4v4.
The last straw came in this next game. This time a premade team kills me at the start of the game. I say ok, they have reverse friendly fire and it can't get any worse. Once we are on attack, a teammate picks ying to intentionally blind my sight, then another holds an impact grenade right next to me until it explodes. It kills both of us. While this is happening the player is racistly mimicking an arabic bomber. Again, I will try to report, but in knowing that there will be no consequence.
These type of situations have drawn me to other games. Valorant is in closed beta and a shooter similar to siege, but the experience is far different. Teammates actually work together towards a common goal, people have respect for each other, and new players are welcomed with open arms. Siege has become too frustrating to play these days and this is why I'm not afraid to make the switch.
