[2020] ping issues

hey all is there anything i can do for high ping there is really no servers for where i live in australia sadly i have found a few but jut about all of them got no active players they are all 0 apart from 2 one had a 30 day meteor and that is on day 21 and not worth joining that server till after and the other is not what i am looking for very small world im talking under 1k small am currently in one now but i been having lag/ping issues my ping is over 250ms at this point im thinking on just running a server and try get a community in but i have no idea how to run one i know how to start one keep it up 24/7 but running one govenment way and stuff no idea
