Hey guys, i've came back to R6 last week, and in the first week i played with no problems at all.

But starting yesterday i've been having some loading screens taking too long to show respawn/site location. This causes huge problems, especially when playing ranked since i want to know which bomb i'm and which operator to pick.

Most of the times the load takes forever and i can't select anything just all random. And sometimes i get like less than 10 seconds to pick everything ;-;

Is weird because loading into the map takes no time at all, but the pick phase is the problem.

Has anyone had the same problem before? And know how can i fix it?

Edit: I'm trying to follow the steps here > https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Article/000078839
But most of the links keep redirecting me to this standard Ubisoft site > https://support.ubisoft.com/pt-PT

Edit 2: I searched at the forums and a guy played with the Vulcan version and helped in the load times, but i click to play directly from steam, there a way to access this Vulcan version from steam?

Hello Matarare, thanks for this information and welcome to the forums.

First of all thank you for bringing this up. I believe the Ubisoft Support website is automatically redirecting you to our Portuguese website, because of your location. I believe some of these articles have not been translated in to Portuguese so they redirect you to the home page when you access them

I can give you the steps here in English if you would prefer?

Step 1. Reset your routers hardware for 60 seconds.

Step 2. Try a wired connection like ethernet, instead of wireless

Step 3. If you are using any of the following programs whilst playing the game -

Full Screen Game Overlays
VoIP and Chat services
RGB controllers
Overclocking Software
Hardware monitoring
Streaming software
Peer to Peer software
VPN

Please disable in Task Manager on the process and start-up tab, to test the game without any other programs using your memory or bandwidth.

Step 3. Ask your ISP or try setting up your routers ports, from your routers online access page to open these ports for the game -

TCP: 13000, 13005, 13200, 14000, 14001, 14008, 14020, 14021, 14022, 14023, 14024
UDP: 6015

Step 4. Try flushing your DNS -

1. Ensure that you are on the Windows 10 desktop.
2. Right click on the start menu and choose Command Prompt (Admin)/ Windows PowerShell (Admin) from the menu.
3. Type in the command ipconfig /flushdns

Step 5. There may be certain restrictions set by your ISP or network administrator on your bandwidth that could restrict or throttle your connection.
For instance, a university campus, a military base or shared housing may have a restrictive network environment. If you have more than one router in your residence, this could affect your connectivity too.

I would recommend following each of the above steps to improve your connection to our server on PC.

As for the Vulkan version, you should be able to right click on the game within Steam and be given the option to download the Vulkan version of the game instead, which focuses less on graphical quality and more on FPS and performance instead. Alternatively, when you click play, you should have the option to launch the Vulkan version too.
